I’m here! I was out of town for a week visiting family and going to my sister’s college graduation. then we closed on our house last week and immediately had to go out of town again for the weekend. I’m back now and hoping life will settle down a little bit so I can make time to post more regularly here.

I wrote a post about our house on my personal blog last week. after much searching, we ended up buying the house we have been renting for the past 3 years, so the one I already live in. which means we don’t have to move! we do have a ton of work to do on this house, but we won’t be doing anything to it until our 3rd roommate moves out in a few weeks. when he leaves, I plan to do a house tour of BEFORE pictures and the slow process of renovating and decorating will begin.
