haha no it’s kind of sad really! I’m only 24 and don’t own a house yet. I love my rental house for the location and size, but it was built in the 80’s and the decor is pretty awful. My kitchen has teal counters, living room has blah beige walls and a fireplace with pink tile, there are awesome windows but the vertical blinds are falling apart, and there is hideous teal carpet throughout. I also live with 2 guys and their beer pong table and college couches (my bf’s is dark green plaid! omg I hate it so much, but luckily our puppy has eaten a hole in it so we’ll have to replace it when we buy a house). I bet you’re jealous.

I guess I’m waiting to be somewhere more permanent before I put much money and effort into decorating. Randy (the bf) and I are planning to buy a fixer-upper to renovate sometime in the next year.

I do have one room in this house that’s all mine to decorate (my office/guest room) - I’ve made it pretty girly and I love it. One day my home will actually look like these houses of my dreams that I post here, but I’m happy in my not-so-pretty-space with my little Tulsa family until then.
